We are supporting a leading not for profit housing association who provide nearly 10,000 affordable homes across 15 local authorities in Kent and Sussex. They are looking to recruit a Neighbourhood Housing Manager, representing the housing association in the community, managing low level Anti-Social Behaviour, tenancy management, and estate and contract management.
This role is offered as a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office and 3 days you will be able to work from home, your salary will be dependent on your previous experience within a similar role. Hours of work are M-F 08.30-16.30 however the client is flexible in terms of working hours and will consider applicants who would like 35 or 30 hours per week. Applicants must have a full UK driving license and access to own transport due to the nature of the role
You will be responsible for a number of properties (up to 1,000) in a particular geographical area predominantly in West Kent and you will work closely with the residents, strategic partners and other key agencies to manage the properties and tenants in accordance with the policies and procedures of this housing authority.
In this role you will undertake home visits and interviews to resolve and advise on a number of housing management issues such as tenancy or breaches of tenancy. You will manage a number of empty properties ensuring that improvements are made. You will produce reports, maintain and update records and manage and monitor relevant budgets.
