I am working with a packaging company based in Barming who are looking for a sales administrator to join their team,
Duties of the sales administrator role:
• Provide direct customer services by informing them of products and services
• Identify sales opportunities and follow up on existing accounts for business development
• Identify each potential customer’s needs
• Explain products’ value and capabilities to customers
• Negotiate prices and variations in prices and specifications
• Process enquiries with the Production Planning office
• Process and follow-up customer orders
• Build meaningful relationships within the company and outside
• Meet individual and company sales targets
• Review the weekly Outstanding Order and Overdue Order list to minimise disruption to your customers
• Liaise with the Customer Support Manager to ensure appropriate and timely delivery of service and products
• Follow up on service and / or product once the delivery has been made
• Deal quickly with customer complaints, referring to the Managing Director when appropriate
• Make calls to prospective clients and inform them about new products and deals
• Prepare daily sales reports, analysing and summarising information
• Review own sales performance in relation to budget with a view to improve it
Suitable candidate for the role:
Excellent communication skills
Good IT skills
Confidence to work alone as well as support a team
Outgoing
High level of written and verbal English
