Our client specialises in providing SaaS software and apps to various niche B2B industries in the UK and Ireland. The company has been rapidly growing its customer base over the past few years and expanding into new sectors.
This has opened up an exciting opportunity for an experienced software developer to join their team based in Ramsgate.

As a software developer your role will include:
· Carrying out software developments to a high standard and within time constraints. Software updates are released every 3-4 months
· The majority of your time will be spent on developing new functionality, whilst testing and documentation of existing systems is also expected
· Ensuring required coding standards are adhered to, our client prides themselves in producing high quality code
· Working with end customers, business partners and other departments to resolve software support issues
· Specifying alterations to existing systems based on customer requirements
· Provide out-of-hours end-user remote support on a rota basis

You must have the following skills and experience:
· The ability to think logically and laterally, analyse a problem and provide unique solutions to it
· Have a proven flair for creating innovative solutions based on a problem domain
· Thorough knowledge of OO methodologies, preferably in a .NET environment
· Knowledge of the Microsoft web development stack through .NET and C#
· An eye for the details, with a "how can we do this better" attitude
· Good team working skills
· Minimum 5 years of experience working in a software developer role.

In addition to the above, the following skills would be advantageous:
· Exposure to mobile development, using Java for Android® or other cross-platform solutions
· Ability to provide training to end users either remotely or in person
· Database design experience, preferably using SQL Server
· Cloud native development (preferably AWS)
· jQuery, JavaScript or other scripting languages / frameworks
· WPF or WinForms using C#
· Object Relational Mapping (Entity Framework preferred)
· Requirements elicitation and problem-domain documentation

This role is office-based initially, with the majority of the team working in a hybrid home and office setting
