We are looking for a Chef de partie to join our ever growing team at the popular Who'd a Thought it Boutique Hotel and Restaurant. Currently we holding 2 AA rosettes and looking for a 3rd.
As our Chef de partie, you will be expected to lead, motivate and supervise the kitchen team and have responsibility for food storing, preparation, production, cooking and service to the restaurant, brasserie and banqueting. You will also be energetic, enthusiastic and have a real passion for cooking.
Our head chef is full of drive and has a real passion for creating amazing dishes. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience to pass on to the right sous. Richard comes from a long line of amazing restaurants including the Oblix at the Shard, Pied A Terre and Chapter One.
Duties and responsibilities of our next Chef de Partie:
To ensure the consistent smooth running of food production areas within the Kitchen
Maintaining a high level of food quality and production with the aim of exceeding our guest’s expectations.
Ensuring the security of all foods, chemicals and equipment by maintaining procedures laid down by the Health and Safety Policy.
To ensure that at all times cleanliness, food safety and all other Health and Safety matters are adhered to so as not to breach any legislative points within the Food Safety Act 1990 or the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Organise orders and costings.
To ensure all Training & Development is completed together with health & safety regulations
Our Chef de partie will:
Have their own transport due to location.
Have a positive attitude.
Be a good team player, hard working and enthusiastic.
Have at least 2 years experience as a Chef de partie or Junior Sous Chef.
Experience of working with fresh produce.
Banqueting experience preferred.
Flexibility to work different shifts
