Working 3-4 days per week this role will be on a contract for 6 months but with the potential of a permanent post. The position will be a hybrid mix of office and home working.

The Business Intelligence and Performance Manager will lead and be responsible for the delivery of all business intelligence/data analytics/performance measurements and be responsible for the development of high-quality and informative performance reports for all services

Duties:

* Leading on all BI/performance reporting activities required; including Data Warehousing, Dashboard production and KPI reporting.
* To develop and lead the Business Intelligence strategy.
* To support with data capturing and reporting to aid decision making.
* To support with quality monitoring initiatives and audit to ensure effective reporting
* To provide timely reports
* To review and reconcile IA activity and corresponding invoices
* To provide staff training (face-to-face & virtual) on new systems and processes
* To support on budget setting
* Act as lead specialist and subject matter expert to provide leadership and interpretation of all data analytics working with the Executive and Board Team.
* Develop improved demand and capacity modelling to better forecast demand and identify drivers of optimal performance.
* Provide expert advice and guidance based on analysis of highly complex information.
* Present reports and dashboards to senior management and the Board
* To establish strong working relationships with external stakeholders and informatics teams.
* To comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act with regards to the secure management of information and patient confidentiality.
* There may be a requirement to line manage more junior staff as and when required.
* To provide training on IT systems used and excel training sessions.

It is essential that you have worked within a similar role within the medical / healthcare industry. You will demonstrate experience in communicating and presenting complex information that may cause debate, be open to challenge and opposition at all levels both internal and external to the organisation

The post holder may be required to travel across West Kent for various meetings. This requirement may be replaced in the short term with virtual meetings. Due to the rural office location and the need to attend various meetings you must be able to drive and hold a UK driver's license.
