I am working with a food manufacturing company based in Tonbridge who are looking to bring in an internal recruiter on a permanent basis due to business expansion.
Reporting into the HR Manager the internal recruiter, you will be responsible for the recruitment function for all roles from warehouse operatives, to drivers, to supervisors and office staff. Working closely with hiring managers to source the right candidates, with the right skills.
This is a new role to the business and an exciting opportunity to help build a great recruitment function, there will also be an opportunity to get involved in general HR tasks if desired.
The main responsibilities for the inhouse recruiter will include:
Creating eye catching job adverts
Source and arrange interviews for a range of roles
Conduct interviews for a range of roles
Maintain records/systems for reporting purposes
Take part in the onboarding and induction process
Find and suggest new, intuitive ways of attracting candidates
Coordinate external recruitment campaigns including attendance at recruitment fairs

Excellent communication and people skills at all levels
Experience in an internal recruiter role or HR assistant/ admin
Good administration and organisational skills with an eye for detail
Good IT skills in MS Office – Word, Outlook, Excel
Ability and confidence to work autonomously, but with the support of the HR Manager
Patience and ability to work well under pressure
Ability to prioritise and juggle your workload
25 days holiday (bank holidays are not included as they are worked)
40 hours per week flexible on shifts (7-4,8-5 or 9-6)
Flexi working after probation (1/2 days from home)
Close to train station
