Insurance and Bank Reconciliations Clerk

£19,000 - £21,000 DOE
Our client a leading insurance broker is looking for an Insurance & Bank Reconciliation Clerk to join a busy and thriving team at their offices in Canterbury. The successful candidate would be supporting both accounts & finance functions within a team of experts.
Insurance and Bank Reconciliations Clerk responsibilities
* Reconciliation of IBA bank accounts and cashbooks into a general ledger
* Assisting with month end fiscal close downs
* Ensuring work is completed in SLA and Audit standards set out in company standards
* Communicating both cross team and senior management
* Premium Finance Reconciliations and Pre-Banking.
* Allocating payments to client accounts and ensuring system is up to date
* Adhering to FCA standards within financial role
* Ad hoc duties
Person specification
* Previous experience in reconciliation work and bank reconciliations is essential for role
* And educational standard of 5 GCSEs Grade C/4 or above is required for applicants
* A sound working knowledge of MS Office and its suite is highly desirable
* An eye for detail and analysis is essential for the role in hand
* Must be of a proactive, can-do mindset in the role
* An ability to communicate both written and verbally is essential for this role
* Open to undertaking additional training for the role
