Compliance Officer (administration & internal audit) – based full time in Ashford office

The role involves working closely with and reporting to the Head of Quality and Head of Centre to ensure all the activities of the ESP organisation are compliant with the relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Working with the operational teams of the organisation to ensure full regulatory and funding compliance with particular regard to the quality and compliance of learner and apprentice files ensuring enrolment paperwork meets the full requirements of our external stakeholders including ESFA and Ofsted

• Work closely with all teams on matters that may affect course files, learner records, registers data and/or the production of valid and reliable learner and apprentice files

• Work with the all teams to ensure accurate and appropriate completion of enrolment and sign-up processes ensuring enrolment onto appropriate courses and programmes

• Provide administrative support to the Quality team, including accurate input into due-diligence requests received by the Head of Quality

Main Job Responsibilities:
• The post holder will manage the administration systems put in place by the Head of Quality/Head of Centre
• The post holder will take an active role in maintaining robust controls and procedures with the purpose of ensuring compliance with audit requirements to meet funding and external stake-holder requirements
• The areas of responsibility for this role will include day-to-day management of AEB and processes for monitoring and assuring the compliance and quality of our enrolment and funding documentation, ensuring all learners files are accurately completed and are audit-ready at all times
• The post holder will take an active role in maintaining ESPs Learner Voice system including receipt and management of non-automated responses through workbook materials, ensuring the data is up-to-date and accurate for use by delivery staff and Heads.
• Having the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, unstinting attention to detail and high-quality delivery, you will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to get things done. You will be an inspirational but practical team player with excellent team-working skills and the ability to quickly form strong working relationships
