Commercial Insurance Broker

Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an established Independent Insurance broker which has a reputation for delivering innovative products, quality service and competitive premiums. They provide professional Broking services to a variety of business sectors and currently have a requirement for a Commercial Insurance Broker in their Kent office.

This role is working in a dedicated broking team where you will deliver a compliant and excellent service to around 300 wholesale brokers, whilst seeking opportunities to expand existing business or develop new business opportunities.

To be considered for the role of commercial insurance broker you will be required to invite Pre-Renewal and Renewal Processing whilst also being very hands on in business development/Identify opportunity to expand business opportunities. You will be methodical and logical in your approach to work being able to handle lots of information when handling renewals but also being able to investigate further when needing more information on the risks presented to you.

As the successful commercial insurance Broker, you will have some commercial insurance knowledge and have excellent Customer Service skills and have confident & effective Telephone skills. Your commercial insurance experience will have been gained either from a broker or possibly an insurer or even having worked under a delegated authority scheme. You will have the ability to work supportively with colleagues and be able to use Word, Excel and Outlook efficiently.
