We are looking to recruit a People Officer to join our busy People Team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave for 12 months.
Our People Officers have responsibilities which include:
Coordinating all aspects of recruitment within given areas/services;
Answering queries on our People Helpdesk;
Supporting the delivery of payroll processing;
Supporting the wider People team including People Advisors and Partners.
What we’re looking for
This is a busy, fast paced role so you will need to hit the ground running and learn as you go. We need someone who can think on their feet, use their initiative, pay attention to the finer details and be an integral part of a supportive team.
You must have strong administration and IT skills and experience of using either Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or G-Suite products is a must.
Having experience of using a people/payroll software system like iTrent and/or having worked in a similar role previously, would be very advantageous however we will provide full training (including G-Suite training) to the successful candidate.
You will also need to be able to confidently work from home on an on-going basis.

This is a 12 month fixed term role starting in early December 2021 for 30 hours per week. Working pattern to be agreed.
You will be based at home however some travel may be required for attendance at team events and other ad-hoc meetings.
We will hold interviews on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 November 2021 via an online video call.
