Infrastructure Engineer x2
Managed Service Provider

£38-45,000 + £2K incentive
The Atlas Recruitment Group are working with a Managed Service Provider voted in the top 10 MSPs to work for in the UK. We are currently helping them search for two Infrastructure Engineers to join them on a permanent basis to be responsible for the successful delivery of infrastructure projects
Assisting with pre-sales processes, you will liaise with clients and the Sales Team to identify objectives, suitable technical solutions, implementation approaches and costs. You will organise incoming projects as they are won and ensure scoping is accurate.
The ideal candidate will come from a strong technical background covering 2nd/3rd Line Support within a Managed Service environment and will hold excellent communication and relationship building qualities.
From a technical perspective you will need experience in as many of the below areas as possible:
* Microsoft Azure VMs, VPNs, hybrid environments (including sync of directories - AADC)
* Azure Active Directory and SSO / IdP concepts
* Microsoft Windows platforms in particular Windows 7-10
* Microsoft Server platforms - 2008-2016
* Microsoft Office versions and Exchange 2007-2016 / Office365
* PowerShell scripting and systems administration using automation
* Virtualization - Hyper-V and/or VMware
* Network infrastructure - routers, firewalls (SonicWALL), VLAN, WLAN (Meraki), QOS and routing
* Server monitoring, maintenance, and remediation (in-depth Microsoft troubleshooting)
* Security platforms: antivirus (Webroot), OpenDNS, Qualys (vulnerability management)
* Cloud email security systems: anti-spam, email archiving (Reflexion and/or Mimecast)
* Cloud file sync and share platforms: Dropbox, OneDrive, AutoTask Workplace
* Phone systems (on premise and/or hosted): VoIP troubleshooting and configuration management
* In-depth knowledge of ConnectWise, LabTech and other tools and/or platforms
You will receive a starting salary of between £38-45,000 depending on experience and the role includes various benefits such as a £2K incentive, private healthcare and more.
