We are delighted to be partnering with East Kent College in the recruitment of a permanent Electrical Installations Lecturer post at the Ashford Campus.

The successful candidate will be qualified to at least BTEC /City & Guilds/EAL who can deliver high quality learning to adult learners wanting to retrain and/or upskill. As part of the EKC Group team delivering adult education based in Ashford, ideal candidate will be level 3 qualified, hold the ECS Gold Card and have recent industry experience including maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with the relevant legislation. You will ideally have teaching or lecturing skills, alternatively, you will be keen support Adult students who want to upskill or retrain and perhaps be looking to move into a teaching environment, in which case your knowledge in the relavant area and your excellent communication skills could see you moving into a Lecturing rolen - this type of move in to teaching could be part time.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, creative and be able to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons with excellent interpersonal skills. Assessing and tracking student progress, to further plan interventions will be a vital part of the role as will ensuring all students develop the skills they need to succeed.

The role offers full time Monday to Friday, in addition, there is a requirement to be available to teach evenings and weekends and the role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
