We are currently recruiting for a permanent Stock Control Manager for an employer of choice in the Dartford area.

As the Stock Control Manager you will be responsible for the accurate, timely and effective stock management of all of the brands within the site to ensure a fully accurate and dynamic stock file. Planning space optimisation of all inbound freight. The modelling and plan for the business space requirements for peak times. Ensuring that all perpetual inventory cycles are managed and monitored through the PI manager along with fully optimising the layout and storage of all goods on site to ensure optimum pick efficiency. You will also be responsible for the management of 2 line supervisors.

For this role you will need to be a confident operator who has experience in stock management and accuracy in reporting of large stock files within a narrow/wide aisle racked warehouse, along with the following skills:

* Excellent communicator across several boundaries.
* Ability to build an effective team in a dynamic and changing environment.
* Customer focused and commercial awareness of managing client SLA's, measuring and monitoring performance using various IT systems.

* Able to work on own initiative and to strict deadlines.

This is a key role within our client's business so it is essential you have effective planning and reporting skills at management level.

Hours will be 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm managing a team that works across 3 shifts (shift patterns are 7am until 3pm, 3pm until 11pm and 11pm until 7pm) with a 60 minute lunch.
