We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional to join a Business Development team.
As an Business Development Director, you will support and enable sustained growth of the business. You will manage, with the Bid Manager, bid responses to ensure they are well presented, clearly state our features and benefits, and focused on a solution that address the buyers issues.
About the role
* Identify new business opportunities that fit with HP service delivery
* Respond professionally and timely with proposals and tenders that meet customer's requirements
* Follow up all enquiries and tenders throughout the sales process, providing the information and details required
* Head up presentations and meeting, including the optimal internal subject matter experts. Including producing presentations tailored to the client needs
* Manage, with the bid manager, bid responses to ensure they are well presented, clearly state our features and benefits, are focused on a solution that addresses the buyer's issues
* Work with account managers to successfully re bid existing clients and/or to upsell more service to existing clients
* Liaise with internal subject matter experts to understand HP's USPs and ensure the responses we provide to buyers of services are in line with what we are able to deliver and presented in a professional way
About you
* Good IT skills including Word, PowerPoint, Sway, Visio and Office 365
* Ability to work with process diagrams and swim lane
* Track record or winning B2B bids
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines
* Able to work autonomously
