Secretary / admin Essex to £25,000



Lloyd's Broker based in essex have a new role for an experienced Secretary / Administrator.



Job Description

Suitable candidates for the position will already have gained experience working in a PA role (ideally within Insurance) and will be looking for a new challenge .

You will need to be able to cope with a busy work environment dealing with varied tasks throughout the day and have strong organisational skills.





* Diary management
* Making travel and accommodation arrangements
* Answering the telephone and transferring calls in a professional manner
* Preparing and administering sundry orders for the Southend team
* Dealing with incoming and outgoing post, faxes & emails
* Assisting the HR and Operations Supervisor with ongoing projects
* General office duties such as booking meeting rooms, scanning and filing

* Providing administrative support to Directors & HR Supervisor as and when is needed
* Conducting files checks in Southend and reporting back to Management
* capable of working on assigned projects independently and using available resources to gather necessary information
* Dealing with filing and archiving
* Completing expenses and mileage
* Providing cover for the London receptionist when required
* Assisting support teams with admin assistance when required
* Maintaining company policies and procedures
* Completing inductions and issuing security passes



Experience in the above is essential with Insurance knowledge being beneficial along with strong PC skills using MS Office and Excel.
