We are the leading provider of specialist homelessness accommodation services to the South East, and we are searching for new staff looking to develop their career in Housing and Community Engagement. Paramount are seeking an assertive individual who can collate, coordinate, and appropriately share the information we receive daily from our outbound staff as they visit our clients. You will ensure the information is received and then shared with the most relevant teams and staff, both internally and with external professionals. The ideal candidate will have an eye for identifying safeguarding concerns or crime, working with the safeguarding team to ensure clients and local authorities receive the best service possible. This entails understanding the various shift reports and handovers from our ASB and Task Force teams from the previous night, ensuring actions and information is sent to the relevant teams and systems updated accordingly.
You will generally work from 7.30am to 3.30pm
This exciting new role will involve you assisting with the administration tasks for the Client Safeguarding Team and Community Engagement Team within our Rochester Office.
You must pass a DBS check and be a UK citizen or free to work in the UK. Evidence of this will be requested.
Role Requirements:
• Be able to deliver a high standard of customer service.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with an understanding of data protection.
• Demonstrate proficient computer skills with experience of using Microsoft Office and database experience.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy during busy periods.
• Have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade, influence, and when appropriate, challenge with tact and diplomacy.
• Have strong administration skills
• Have the ability to work accurately with high attention to detail
• Have the ability to work under pressure and meet the demands of the business
• Be proficient in data entry
• Be able to prioritize and organize your workload
• Have an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
• Be able to work effectively with team members and on your own, be self-motivated and passionate about the homelessness sector and community integration.
• Be able to communicate effectively with emergency services and other professional bodies and stakeholders.
• Be able to multitask and work well under pressure.

Experience would be an advantage but not essential as all training will be given.
The hours can be flexible, but you may occasionally be required to work weekends or until 8pm in the evening (notice would be given).
