An established & busy projects-based company are currently looking for an experienced office administrator to help coordinate key documentation, manage diaries and arrange internal services
Founded over 40 years ago, this company deliver a solution-focused service to their clients, which cover both trade and retail, for projects across the UK. They have built superb customer loyalty and a great reputation for product quality, cost efficiency and excellent client care throughout their projects, thus winning lots of new opportunity. Clients range from manufacturing/engineering contractors to infrastructure specialists.
This is an integral role within the wider company and will require: good time management, attention to detail and team working skills in order to successfully/efficiently coordinate administration throughout the process.
Day to day, you will process orders and resolve enquiries (as received by regional sales representatives, website enquiry, email, request to tender documents and telephone calls). This will involve responding to ‘further information’ requests, price and technical product queries, quotation and ‘project plan’ requests; you will speak to suppliers and conduct research on product price and availability, make calculations and put together price quotes bespoke project plans and also look after any resulting queries/follow-up actions such as notifying the logistics team and suppliers.
Varied projects – varying in scale, cost and complexity, and so patience, attention to detail, customer service and team working are all key skills
The ideal candidate for this role, would be:- An administrator, confident communicating by telephone and email, attentive to detail, and will enjoy working on some complex projects. Loyal, local, committed and will fit seamlessly in to the team
Lovely offices based just under 10 minute drive from Tonbridge (free parking onsite)
Monday – Friday 9-5 with flexibility as needed.
Salary £22,000.
