Finance Analyst | Erith | £22,000 - £26,000

A fast-paced FMCG business based in North Kent, is looking to attract a Finance Analyst on a permanent basis to join their Head Office team. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for supporting the FP&A Manager with the delivery of insightful business information. The successful candidate will have an inquisitive mind and provide sound and reporting, analysis and guidance to the business by:

• Production of daily reporting to the operational teams and directors
• Weekly variance analysis reporting
• Producing material for board packs period reports
• Produce all other sales, margin and KPI tracking information for weekly use
• Make sure all numbers are accurate and tie back to those reported
• Collaboration with the ops team
• Reconciliation of labour costs for daily costing reports
• Identify trends to assist with business improvement
• Analysis of historic data to provide information on rates for tenders
• Ad Hoc Financial Work

Skills required:
• Ability to work to strict deadlines and meet month end reporting targets
• Ability to interact with other finance teams
• Professionally mannered and well-presented
• Ability to deal with complex queries and resolve in an efficient manner
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as being able to manage own workload daily
• Excel skills are essential for the role (Sumifs, pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s)
• Experience of management information systems and extensive data manipulation
• Flexible - able to cope with changing priorities and demands
• Communication - the ability to explain financial matters to non-financial people
• Commercial awareness
