The Atlas Recruitment Group are currently helping an organisation within the Financial Services industry, to search for someone with a strong interest in computing and cyber security to join them on a two-year fixed term contract as an Information Security Apprentice.

The organisation is a government backed operation who work with a wide range of not-for profit businesses across the UK to assist them with accessing various banking and investment services that typically they would not qualify for elsewhere.

You would be joining an enterprise-grade security function to be fully immersed in the world of Information Security, giving you true insight into the industry and how the day-to-day operation functions. For those who have a strong desire to enter this field, this is a rare opportunity to gain both real world training and experience as well as the opportunity to build a strong hands-on skillset.

Within the role you will join a team of dedicated and highly experienced InfoSec professionals who will be there to guide you and train you. You will also be enrolled on various training courses and will walk away from the apprenticeship with a qualification in Information Security.

The courses you will cover include CompTIA Network +, CompTIA Security + and EC Council Certified Network Defender providing you with a solid foundation in InfoSec fundamentals.

In order to qualify for the apprenticeship, you will need:

* Minimum of 5 GCSE's, A Levels or a Level 3 Qualification (Apprenticeship or BTEC in relatable subject)
* STEM Subjects will be beneficial
