I am recruiting for a Customer Services Manager for a Logistics company, this is a exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
Hours will be 5 out of 7 and will include some weekend working on a rota basis due to the nature of the business, it will be a 45hr week.
Must have Customer Service experience within the Logistics industry.
The Role
* Manage the activities and resources of the Customer Service team to ensure the financial and operational objectives are achieved along with making sure the highest level of Customer Service is delivered.
* Maintaining customer relationships with day to day interaction and ensuring the customer's needs are being met or exceeded.
* Responsible for department recruitment and retention.
* Identify opportunities to simplify current process and to recommended and implement new process to drive productivity.
* The management of productivity to achieve KPIs, changing priorities where necessary and be proactive in looking for continuous improvements and cost reductions.
* To ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to and administration functions completed within deadlines and maintain accurate records in line with customer/company requirements.
The Candidate
* Previous experience within the Fresh Produce industry would be preferred
* Customer focused.
* Self-motivation to use their initiative and to innovate, when required
* Staff motivator with the ability to coach and train members of the team.
* Experience of working within a fast pace warehouse/logistics environment
* Ability to communicate at all levels.
* Ability to remain patient and calm during stressful situations
