Underwriting Assistant - International Property Reinsurance
Permanent - to £30,000
Flexible working available - City 3 days & WFH 2 days per week.
A fantastic opportunity to join the Property Reinsurance division of a leading global insurer.
In this role you will provide a diverse range of different technical and administrative support duties to ensure effective underwriting activity, in addition to liaising with brokers.
Working closely with a small team of highly experienced Underwriters this role will provide the opportunity for training and development with the scope to progress.
The division underwrite International Property Excess of Loss Treaty business. Some knowledge of reinsurance would be ideal, but is not essential. The essential qualities are someone who is organised, able to work independently, willing and able to learn quickly, possess strong communication skills, considers themselves highly numerate, analytical and comfortable with IT systems.
