Reed Facilities are searching for a Senior Warehouse Operative to join a small family run company who is looking for a career within a Warehouse in Gravesend.

Monday – Friday

Between £10 - £12 per hour depending on experience

9am – 5pm with an hours lunch

Location: Gravesend (ideally you will drive due to remote location)

This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate

As the Senior Warehouse Operative, you will:

- Warehouse or Goods in/out experience
- Have strong leadership skills
- Be enthusiastic to ensure a friendly/happy working environment
- A good problem solver
- Able to show willing and be able to think on your feet
- Be highly Organised and able to prioritise
- Be able to work without constant supervision
- Function well as part of a team
- Be able to communicate well

The role:

- Print and collate customer orders
- Pick and pack customer orders
- Despatch outgoing orders in line with the company processes and deadlines
- Checking, processing and reporting customer returns on the day of arrival
- Checking incoming stock, reporting any missing or damaged items and placing in allocated area in the warehouse
- Transfer incoming dresses from arrival bay to stock room area once quality controlled and reconciled to delivery notes
- Assisting in stock taking duties
- Preparing dockets of fabrics and consumables for despatch to factories will involve heavy lifting
- Some driving duties (not essential)
- Ensure that house-keeping of the warehouse is maintained to a high standard
