My Client, one of the largest suppliers to the UK market, is driven by a passion for high quality and pioneering innovation. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Machine Operator to work as part of a team, ensuring the smooth and safe running of the production line and achieving production targets



The Role: Production Operators - Day and night shifts available

To carry out pre-checks and cleaning tasks of the production line before production start-up

Set the machine to production recipes

Preparing raw materials for production

Replenishing packaging to the production line during the shift including the stacking of trays

QA quality checks

Maintain the hygiene of equipment

Complete documentation throughout the shift

Record downtime

Resolve machines stoppages

Achieve OEE and waste targets

Maintain health and safety

Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement



Skills / Experience / Qualifications - Production Operators - Day and night shifts available

Experience of plant or machine operations

Ideally experience of working within the food sector

A certificate in basic food hygiene -ideal

Knowledge of Safe manual handling practices

Health and safety awareness skills

The ability to follow instructions and use own initiative

Excellent communication skills

The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Good team working skills

Flexible

IT literate

4 on 4 off shifts
