SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Gravesend
£65-£75 a day – Full-time – Immediate Starts


Supply Desk are working with a Primary School in Gravesend recruiting for a 1:1 teaching assistant to work with students across KS1 and KS2 with SEN. The role is for an immediate start and will be a full-time contract. The position is also on a temp-to-perm basis.

The Role
• Working 1:1 or in small groups with students with SEN
• SEN needs may include Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Non-Verbal
• Collaborating with the Class Teacher and SENCO in providing support for the students concerned

The Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience working with children with SEN would be highly desirable
• A background in Psychology would be desirable but not essential
• Experience supporting children with any of the listed SEN needs would be highly desirable
• Must be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS preferable)
