Responsible for coordinating all site purchase administration and supplier communications to ensure efficient and effective operational controls are in place, working closely with all internal stakeholders and logistic partners to deliver an optimum level of service.
The Role
Provide day to day support to the Inbound Manager to all facets of the inbound activity, including raw material (Finished Goods, packaging and green beans) Side Products planning and stock control. Support any operational control systems that are in place.
Liaise with 3rd party Roasters on produced and purchased finished goods, working closely with with the production planner and stock control.
Facilitate orders and administration for Suppliers advising the Inbound Manager on daily status and Service.
Actively drive health & safety and GMP standards throughout organisation; ensuring adherence, compliance and active participation in company activities to ensure practices are met and to exceed the company targets of risk management
With the Inbound Manager, implement improvements to working practices, cost and process efficiency, performance and reliability in the 3rd Third party warehousing and logistics (Outbound Team) including: vendor communication, seasonality and promotions planning and supplier inventory planning
Expedite the purchase order process with UCC's suppliers
Monthly reporting on KPIs and MRP/Forecasting to monitor supplier performance
Support all aspects of the Supply Chain team including outbound facilities
The Person
Previous supply chain/logistics experience within Manufacturing, FMCG or Foodservice
Excellent knowledge of procurement
Experience in MRP/Forecasting
A self- starter, able to motivate, plan, prioritize and execute methodically
Confident user of Microsoft Office applications and business systems
Excellent communication and organization skills
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and BRC requirements
Salary: up to £25k + pension + other Company benefits
