The Best Connection Employment Group are currently recruiting for a depot manager for our busy client in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The role will come with training for the first three months to ensure you are ready to begin.
Prior experience in a builder’s merchant is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn knowledge of all types of products sold, experience in team building and man management, ability to talk to various types of individuals daily. Paperwork is key and organisational skills will be very important. You must be able to forward plan with good timekeeping skills.
£12.00 - £14.00 per hour (negotiable)
Hours are:
07:30 until 17:00 - Monday to Friday
08:00 until 12:00 - Saturday
Your duties will include:
Assisting team members where required
Liaising with customers with regards to their requirements/orders
Taking phone calls
Dealing with enquiry emails
Health and safety for the branch
Builders merchant experience preferred
A forklift licence would be desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
