£30K+ depending on experience
A family-owned business in the heart of Kent with over 50 years of experience of growing and distributing quality top, stone and soft fruit is looking for a Commercial Coordinator to join the developing and expanding business.
Tasks will include:
• assisting the commercial team across soft fruit & top fruit
• stock controlling/updating stock spreadsheets
• order entry
• transport planning
• invoicing
• ensuring a smooth supply of stock required to meet orders
• identifying potential issues before they occur and proactively seeking solutions
• keeping the team and customers up to date
The Ideal Candidate:
• comes from the fresh produce sector
• has a background in supply chain and commercial support
• is very organised and analytical and has strong MS Excel skills
• ideally, has experience in the soft fruit and/or top fruit category
• has the ability to keep a calm head whilst resolving issues and focusing on solutions
• is a team player and willing and able to tackle difficulties in order to get the job done whilst focusing on quality service for the customer
Minimum Requirements:
• experience with fresh foods, short shelf lives and working with retail customers
• the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
