Venrec are urgently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Snodland, Kent for Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for Supermarket  work 

New rates apply beginning August 15th for Supermarket RDC delivery work to stores in the South East working out of a multi temperature site in Snodland, Kent. 

Successful candidates will have the following skills and experience 

- Full Class 1 or Class 2 licence 
- No more than 6 points or a DD or DR
- A valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card 

The role

- Primarily PM and Night Shift. There will be some AM shifts available and weekends would be part of day shift pattern
- Working across 7 days, patterns to suit. But would ideally include some weekends
- Class 1 drivers will deliver mostly single loads or do up to 3 different deliveries per shift, unloading and reloading will also be required 
- Class 2 drivers will primarily have up to 3 deliveries in the same vehicle, although there could be more. Unloading and reloading will also be required 

The rates of pay (all paid via PAYE) 

Holiday pay is accrued at 12.07% on top of your gross pay and a Work Place Pension scheme is available

Class 1:

- Class 1 (Days ) Monday to Friday - £18.00 per hour
- Class 1 (Nights) Monday to Friday - £20.00 per hour
- Class 1 Saturday (all hours) - £22.00 per hour
- Class 1 Sunday/Bank Holidays (all hours) - £23.00 per hour

Class 2:

- Class 2 (Days) Monday to Friday - £14.00 per hour 
- Class 2 (Nights) Monday to Friday - £16.50 per hour 
- Class 2 Saturday (all hours) - £16.50 per hour 
- Class 2 Sunday/Bank Holidays (all hours) - £18.00 per hour

Ideal shift starts:

- 12:00 - 14:00 - Class 1 and Class 2 
- 15:00 - 18:00 - Class 1 
- 18:00 - 20:00 - Class 1
- 23:00 - 00:00 - Class 1 
- 04:00 - 07:00 - Class 1 and Class 2
