Commercial Finance Manager, £70,000 - £80,000, West London

Your new company
A rapidly expanding, national industry leader in retail is hiring for a Commercial Finance Manager. Working in the head office, based in West London, you will be managing a team of 2 bright management accountants, and reporting to the Group Finance Director (GFD).

Your new role
Your role as Commercial Finance Manager will be broad with a range of responsibilities such as:

* Complete ownership and delivery of quarterly analysis and month end management accounts reporting, including forecasting and variance analysis
* Preparing month end reconciliations of company P&L, balance sheet, prepayments, and fixed assets
* Complete ownership of company's annual budgetary process
* Assisting the Financial Accountants in the smooth running and completion of company audits and necessary year end procedures
* Developing powerful excel models to assist budget holders in managing and evaluating their budgets more efficiently
* Monitoring and highlighting margin indicators of both long and short-term growth areas



What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as a Commercial Finance Manager, you MUST have the following:

* An accounting body qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Ideally, experience in the retail and distributions industry
* Expert knowledge of Excel and accounting systems (Sage, Dynamics, etc)
