CREDIT CONTROLLER

£21,000
Part-time, 20 hours per week – 5 mornings (some flexibility regarding hours and working from home)

Credo Care is a well-established and leading Independent Fostering Agency, specialising in the care of children with additional needs.
Role
Assisting the Finance Manager with the day-today operation of the Agency’s invoice discounting facility (IGF) and ensuing cashflow is protected by:
- monitoring incoming payments and posting to Sage
- provide monthly reconciliations
- assist in undertaking audits
- issuing invoices to local authorities and monitoring additional charges to be made to them
- monitor receipt of new purchase orders
- undertake credit control duties
- assist with year end procedures
- attaching sales ledger invoices to Sage monthly
- assist with year-end procedures as required
Requirements for the role:
· A good standard of education (GCSE standard, grade C or above to include Maths)
· Comprehensive and recent experience of accounts and administration duties
· Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
· Good IT skills, competent in the use of Microsoft Office
· Experience in managing data in spreadsheets and databases
· Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail
· Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts
· A full driving licence and access to car
A knowledge of Sage and local authority finance would be beneficial but not essential.
