Petershams is dedicated to hat making supplies. Our customer base includes brides-to-be, theatrical costumiers, hobbyists and world class milliners. Twice awarded ‘Best Shop’ by Time Out Magazine, we aim to have the friendliest, most knowledgeable one-stop online hat supply shop! After 10 happy years in London we moved our growing business to Canterbury, Kent and are looking for a team of passionate, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

We are recruiting for part time & full time Customer Service / Warehouse Assistants to complete day-to-day tasks. The majority of the day will consist of picking and fulfilling online orders at our Canterbury warehouse but will also include:

-Storage upkeep including cleaning and re-stocking.
-Maintaining accurate stock levels.
-Processing payments, online and by phone. Creating and sending invoices.
-Assisting customers via phone and email.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Pick, pack and organize a high volume of outgoing orders.
-Meet and exceed customer service expectations.
-To learn about the millinery trade and its materials.
-Identifying customer needs and assisting in answering inquiries and solving problems.
-Operating a variety of office equipment including PCs, printers.
-Spelling, vocabulary, math and grammar skills appropriate to the level of the position.
-Office programs including word document programs and knowledge of Shopify a plus.
