Job purpose:

The purpose of the role is to be the main point of contact for all IT-related issues. The role requires technical expertise and will provide support across the whole company.

Job attributes:

The job holder will have previous experience of working within an I.T. department providing company-wide support. Must have an ability to prioritise workload and have excellent communication and problem solving skills. The job holder will report directly to the MD and will carry out tasks including, but not limited to:

Job role:

· General IT support

a. Triage and deliver solutions for IT related issues on user devices

b. Manage 3rd party IT support contract and the management and escalation of calls raised

c. Run sessions with business users and create repeatable content to increase business knowledge and enhance the onboarding process

d. Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and telephones

e. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks

f. Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

g. Providing technical support across the company (in person or over the phone)

h. Setting up accounts for new starters including emails, access to drives and telephone connection where required

i. Training new starters and championing software

j. Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary

k. Maintaining stock levels of equipment on site

l. Analysing all existing I.T. equipment and processes and ensuring efficiency and suggesting improvements where required

m. Updating and maintaining company website and social media

· Champion of internal software packages such as Joblogic and Procure

a. Manage the relationship with 3rd party software providers

b. Upskill to become a super user on the business applications to support internal requests and escalate where necessary

c. Review opportunities to deliver improvements/efficiencies through the software through regular account meetings and present back to senior leaders

· Delivering business wide efficiencies

a. Support the adoption of a drive to a paperless working practice

b. Maximise the value of the business investment in mobile devices by increasing functionality for the remote workforce

c. Review products such as Power BI as an opportunity to improve and standardise reports across the business

d. Review products such as Power Apps and Power Automate to deliver automation to current business processes that sit between 3rd party product functionality

· Collaborate with department heads to capture pain points and wish lists for technology enhancements
