My client is an impressive organisation and an opportunity has arisen for a talented Group Financial Accountant to join their Kent based finance team on a permanent basis.
Within this role you will be heading a team that are responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts, group reporting and monthly accounts. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Preparation of management statutory accounts
- Production of consolidated financial information for Group reporting
- Manage tax affairs to include VAT, Corporation Tax etc
- Preparation of audit schedules
- Ensure process compliance to requirement
- Mentor the financial accounts team
Applicants will preferably be fully qualified, with good technical knowledge ideally gained within an operational environment. Although a strong financial accounting background is key what may be even more important is international accounts experience. Good Excel skills are a prerequisite, alongside the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
