Specialist international HVAC equipment manufacturing company seeks to fill the position of Administration Assistant/Receptionist. Working hours are Monday - Thursday 9.00 - 5.30 - 32 hour week.
To provide all relevant Admin support (75%) and switchboard operations (25%)
Administration
• Provide general administrative support throughout the business such as general typing, photocopying, printing, organising couriers
• Maintaining files including setting up contacts, electronic filing, record-keeping and archiving of files
• Updating systems with accurate information/data entry
• Taking internal and external telephone queries, responding as appropriate and/or ensuring all messages are passed on in a timely manner
• Laminating documents
Switchboard
• Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and directing them as appropriate
• Greeting visitors at reception, ensuring they are signed in, have read the relevant H&S information and host notified
• Any other duties that may be deemed necessary or appropriate
Key Skills Required
• A reliable team member with a flexible approach to work, and the ability to work well under pressure
• Discretion and an understanding of confidential issues
• The ability to work methodically with strong organisational skills
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent telephone manner
A minimum of two years office admin experience required. Benefits are 25 days holiday, life insurance cover, pension and free parking.
