Customer Care Coordinator
North Kent

My client, a successful and established organisation are looking for an experienced and reliable Customer Care Coordinator to join their friendly and thriving team on a 16-month Fixed Term Contract.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a busy and varied Customer Service or Administrative position, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy workload!
Duties include:
* Acting as the initial point of contact for international customers via email
* Taking and processing customer orders
* Provision of quotations to customers
* Progressing orders and notification of status to customers
* Allocation of stock to orders for distributed products on standard lead time
* Liaison with the in-house freight forwarding company
* Handling queries and enquiries, including recording and progressing customer complaints
* Routine contact with customers/potential customers in writing, by telephone and occasionally in person.
* Recording and distribution to appropriate personnel of interesting and important information gathered from contact with customers/potential customers
* Maintenance of pricing and special requirement information
* Other Adhoc tasks when requested
The right candidate will have/be:
* Previous office-based experience in Administration or Customer Service
* Experience of using complexed CRM booking systems (e.g. Oracle)
* Confident in prioritising a busy and demanding workload
* Strong organisation skills
* Helpful, reliable, and confident
* The ability to multitask under pressure
* Strong using all MS Office applications
* A meticulous attention to detail
* Intermediate or above skills using Excel
* A good telephone manner
* A strong academic record demonstrating your numeracy and literacy skills
