Position: CNC Programmer, Setter, and Operator

Location: Whitstable, Kent

Salary - 27,000- 31,000 experience depending


This is a company is locally based, and provides high quality components to clients worldwide. As a trusted company they have a number of projects with continued repeat business, which in turn puts them in a strong position as a global supplier.

Due to the increase in demand they are now seeking a skilled CNC, Programmer, Setter, Operator (Fanuc) to add to the team.

As a skilled CNC programmer, Setter , Operator, your main duty will be to programme, set, operate and assists with the day-to-day operations of CNC machinery and lathes (Fanuc controls), providing high quality components for clients, with either one offs, prototypes or larger quantities.

Responsibilities will Include:

Programme, Set and Operate the on site CNC machines and Lathes
Have a full understanding of Programming and setting operating controls, in particular Fanuc
Able to read and work from technical drawings.
Machinery setup to make sure arrangement is safe and ready to handle its assigned load.
Cuts, grinds, or drills materials in machine as needed by adjusting speed, the path of the cut, and other factors.
Performs work by following the company's operating standards and international regulations.
Keeps a focus on safety whilst operating machinery.
Works a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods.

This position is Monday to Thursday 730am - 5.45pm & Friday 6.30am – 3.00pm

Ideally you must be able to demonstrate CNC Programming, Setting , and Operating experience in a similar role, and in return will be rewarded with a:
