About the role: Horsmonden Primary Academy has an exciting opportunity to appoint an Office Administrator to join and enhance the work of the administration team at our school, from September 2021. This is an exciting and rare chance to join a school and play a pivotal role in its success and development, laying the path for future years. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a busy area, and will be confident in providing a professional, welcoming, efficient service, ensuring the smooth running of the school office including all office systems, procedures and processes. The candidate will be able to work flexibly under pressure, use their initiative and prioritise their workload.

This is a permanent role offering an actual salary £15,802 per annum (FTE £18,476), based on 37.5 hours per week and Term Time + 1 week of inset.​​​​​​​



The ideal candidate would need to have the following:

Good general standard of education
Good standard of literacy and numeracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good IT skills
Level 2 in Maths and English

Being a part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2020, our Trust will comprise 28 geographically organised academies (11 secondaries, 15 primaries and 2 special) educating over 16,000 students, and employing over 2,500 talented staff. We also have one further secondary academy in the development phase, due to open in September 2021. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North West Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training providers and a large teaching school.
