The Best Connection Employment Group are currently recruiting for multiple Warehouse Operative's to begin an ongoing assignment for our client based in the New Hythe, Aylesord area.
As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Order picking stock
- Manually lifting furniture in to designated bays
- Moving cages around the warehouse
- Loading waste in to recycling balers
Successful candidates must be physically fit in order to suit this role. You will be expected to assist with various amounts of heavy lifting throughout the duration of your shift.
You will be expected to work from Monday to Friday from the hours of 07:00 to 18:00.
You will be provided with a 60 minute unpaid lunch break per shift.
You will be paid a basic rate of £9.50 per hour for the first 8 hours of your shift. Any hours completed after the first 8 hours will be paid at an overtime rate of £11.00 per hour.
Also, if you are working any days over the weekend, you will be paid at the £11.00 per hour overtime rate for the entire duration of your shift.
In return, you will also receive:
- Weekly pay
- 28 days holiday per annum
- Full training & PPE
- Potential permanent position following a successful trial period
