Due to a further increase in business, an exciting opportunity for an individual to experience working within Burtons Manufacturing Co Ltd has arisen.

Burtons has been established for 40 years and is the leading company in manufacturing and supplying veterinary equipment in the UK.

The successful individual will report direct to the Production Manager.

This new role could provide an opportunity for the right person to take on more responsibility within the manufacturing company.

Responsibilities & Duties

· Liaison with sales department on issues affecting due dates etc.

· Overseeing the company quality management systems.

· Communicating issues and concerns to Production Manager.

· Enter data and generate reports regarding performance (e.g. trending charts, targets, scrap, downtime, etc.)

· Enter data for production orders with respect to Goods Issued, Labour, etc.

· Ability to support continuous improvement activities such as, standardization of work, process simplification, etc.

Qualifications & Skills

· Proficient computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office

· Organisation and efficiency

· Problem solving skills

· Communication skills

· Team working skills

Pay & Benefits

· Salary in the range of £23,000 to £26,000 per annum, dependent upon experience
