Can you care without judgement? Are you a qualified NVQ Level 2 or 3 Healthcare Assistant looking for an opportunity to gain some unique experience with vast development opportunities? Do you want to work in a challenging yet extremely rewarding environment where no two days at the same?

IC24 have a fantastic opportunities for NVQ Level 3 Healthcare Assistants to facilitate nurse led clinics, administer medicines, immunisations and vaccinations and phlebotomy to patients within a prison cluster on the Isle of Sheppey. We also have opportunities for Level 2 Healthcare assistants who wish to train and and work towards the level 3 qualification.

The cluster consists of 3 prisons that cater for un-sentenced, sentenced prisoners and prisoners who are working out in the community, carrying out reparative work or engaging in paid employment towards the end of their sentence. Therefore the role requires high levels of energy and motivation as well as the ability to prioritise. There is also a real opportunity to support patients over a period of time and build relationships. Full onsite support is given to all colleagues.

IC24 have recently successfully been re-awarded this contract since providing Primary and Urgent care to the HMP Prison Sheppey Cluster in 2012. We are looking for colleagues to help us continue this growth. You will be asked to work from HMP Standford Hill, HMP Elmley and HMP Swaleside all situated within a 1 mile radius of each other.

Hours Available 37.5 hours per week covering a 24/7 operation (we may be able to consider part time hours that could suit your requirements subject to availability).
