CLAIMS BROKER/ANALYST to £47,000
City based with flexible WFH
This is a great role for someone who is perhaps looking for their next step We want a really good claims technician who is happy to crunch the data but also a good Broker. If they are more technical than broking we can develop their broking skills.
Provide a pro-active service to clients to expedite the settlement of claims, liaising between all parties and actively chasing information.
Gather and produce claims information for Clients, Producers, Brokers and Account Executives.
To keep the relevant Producer/Account Executive/BBU Technician informed as to the status of claims and general business issues.
Correspond with Clients/Underwriters and resolve any queries that arise.
Collate complete, accurate and meaningful information for Insurers.
Update electronic records and manual claims files.
To ensure compliance with relevant Company and Market Rules and Procedures.
To ensure that the Company's workflow systems are updated promptly to reflect the current status of any claim.
To record and deal promptly with any telephone enquiries/other verbal enquiries, exercising own judgement, based upon knowledge and experience, as to when to refer to senior colleagues.
To report breaches, errors & omissions, disputes and complaints.
Understand the insurance cover of each client.
Manage and undertake assigned project work to time scales as directed.

Essentials:
3-5+ years' claims and technical experience
Collaborative team working approach
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to build and maintain profitable long-term relationships with clients and insurers
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Accurate and attentive to detail
Ability to work with employees at all organisational levels

Desirables:
Supervision of one other, albeit managing appraisal/performance, or desire to manage one other
Proficiency in MS Outlook (email)
Power BI experience
Advanced level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
