JOB TITLE: Artwork Coordinator

LOCATION: Folkestone (2/3 days office based)

SALARY: £13.51 to £14.55 (equivalent of £26k-£28k per year)

TERM: 6 months initially with possible permanent opportunities

HOURS: 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm. Friday 9am to 4.30pm with a 45 minute lunch break

The key purpose of this role is to assist the various teams in the development of artwork, inputting to initial designs, briefing artwork agency, managing approval process and ensuring that the final artwork that goes to the printers meets the desired results and specifications. This role requires attention to detail and good organisation to ensure everything is fully approved by the required partners in the business. It will also require you to become a subject matter expert in the wide variety of print suppliers and print processes so you can become a trusted advisor to the teams during the design development stages.

This is a Temporary role starting immediately for approximately 6 months, the offices are based in Folkestone with free parking and this role has a mixture of office and home based working.

The day to day duties in your new job would be:

* Manage the tracking of all artworks required
* Work with project teams to establish delivery timings and milestones
* Manage and persuade all parties to deliver their respective artwork deliverables on time
* Report artwork KPIs in a timely manner
* Become the expert of the artwork process
* Manage the approval and proofing process
* Training new team members in the process and their role in it
* Monitoring how well the process is working throughout its various stages through gathering feedback and propose changes to improve the process
* Work with the key business partners to update, document and embed changes to the process as and when required
* Contribute to team meetings with updates on news and key learning's

We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

* Experience in printing and print management
* Solid experience (4+ years) with FMCG or CPG brands
* Good technical understanding of printing and artwork creation
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong analytical skills - financial and market research/data
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
* Additional European languages - French or German are desirable but not essential
* MS Office skills
