Due to exciting business growth, an Electronic Instrumentation Technician is required to join our manufacturing client on a permanent basis to test and repair Instruments where faults are detected through testing in production cells. You will be required to book components to keep stock records accurate, as well as being involved in improvement activities.
To carry out tests using test specifications, identify faults to component level using appropriate test equipment, carry out repairs to the required standard (IPC), conduct cycle counting, fault find PCBs and instruments from technical drawings/circuit diagrams, test, fault-find and repair instruments and PCBs.
The successful applicant
* HNC (or equivalent) in electronics
* ONC (or equivalent) as a minimum
* Lower level qualifications plus 5 years' experience in electronics industry
* Ability to use a PC
* Ability to record and use data
