Property & Facilities Manager (contract)
Tonbridge (on-site), 8 - 10 hrs per week (with occasional travel to Aberdeen)

The role
In this varied and rewarding role you will provide facilities management services to a portfolio of Jee’s properties. You will provide management that is effective, represents good value for money and ensures a safe and secure environment for residents, colleagues, and visitors.
On a day-to-day basis you will oversee organisational arrangements for essential services for all above mentioned properties. This will include building safety, maintenance, security, cleaning, archiving, and waste management. In addition, you will lead the development, implementation and monitoring of health and safety management systems.
Responsibilities
· Oversee essential services with regards to the maintenance of all properties and be the main point of contact for residents, colleagues, and visitors to such properties
· Where feasible, establish and maintain service level agreements with all facilities related service providers and ensure that the suppliers are effectively managed
· Define and manage the Facilities budget and develop strategic relationships with suppliers to deliver best value
· Identify & manage supply chain risk, identify alternative suppliers and take appropriate action to mitigate risk events
· Manage and co-ordinate major projects, office moves circa 15 people, environmental projects and H&S related projects
· HSE responsibilities – as a key member of the HSE team, support the development and maintenance of all activity
· Support the successful completion of the annual audit and initiate follow up actions where required
Person specification
· Previous management experience within a Property or Facilities Management function or similar environments is essential
· Excellent organisational and planning skills
· Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with a range of people
