Your new company
My client is an independent firm of surveyors regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors that provide residential surveys, valuations, and party wall services to their clients throughout London and the South of England from their offices in Surrey and London.

The company have gone from strength to strength in the last 12 months, notwithstanding the effects of the pandemic, they have managed to grow by 8 staff and have plans to double that in the next 12 months. This growth and future growth have been possible because of the 2 owning directors having a strong network of loyal contacts that have used them for over 15 years, whatever company they have been with.

As a result, they are looking for a Residential Surveyor to join their team in Surrey, the Residential Surveyor will be looking to do Homebuyers reports and valuations across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and SE London. The need to be in the office is minimal and as such work can be allocated close to the successful candidate's home address to reduce travel time to sites.

Your new role
In the role of Residential Surveyor, you will be tasked and measured in the following: inspecting properties and producing reports on residential properties in line with the RICS requirements for Level 3 Building Surveys and Homebuyers Reports and producing Redbook valuations. You will be expected to conduct 2 Homebuyer reports a day and/or a building survey.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have the following: You will have one of the following professional memberships, MRICS or AssocRICS and RICS Registered Valuers qualified, you will also need to have experience of producing homebuyer reports in line with RICS requirements for Level 3 Building Surveys and Homebuyer reports.

What you'll get in return
In return, you can expect a salary of up to £55k D.O.E along with 25 days holiday + bank holidays. A pension scheme, a bonus scheme based individual targets and professional fees and CPD is paid for.
