We are currently recruiting for a Home Administrator at Edward Moore Residential Care Home in Gravesend.

The successful post holder will provide full time administration and financial assistance to the Home Manager, work in conjunction with other members of staff to provide good office practice and assist in the smooth running of the home.

Main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) assisting with all aspects of recruitment and regulatory checks, processing employee documentation, Tax and National Insurance information as required by HR and Payroll, maintaining staff files, producing and updating staff rotas for the Home, processing monthly Payroll, maintaining annual leave records, recording, monitoring and referring staff absence, co-ordinating training, preparing and submitting reports to Head Office, supporting marketing activities, dealing with petty cash, managing resident files, assisting with Care Home Finances, working with HQ to update all documentation and communications, keeping all policy and procedure manuals and other reference material neat, up to date, assisting with Health and Safety, reporting maintenance requirements, manage the Home Managers diary, take minutes and notes at meetings, order stationary, provide general administrative support to the Management of the Home and work with all staff towards agreed policies and standards of care in keeping with the stated beliefs of the Society.

Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

o Strong administrative experience with accurate typing
o Ability to make full use of Microsoft Word including databases and spreadsheets
o Excellent organisational skills, standards of grammar and spelling
o Good interpersonal skills
o Good communication skills
o Appreciation of confidentiality and GDPR
o Ability to meet tight deadlines
