Due to growth my client, a no1 media print and creative business, are looking to recruit for a sales executive.

The purpose of a sales executive

The purpose of this role is to generate leads to pass on to designated specialists who will then be converting to sales. This is a consultive sales role so the successful business developer will have a strong personality to stand out from the crowd!


Day to day duties of the sales executive

• Source and connect with key decision makers.
• Develop understanding of the prospective client’s business to quality their potential and using a consultative approach introduce them to the solutions you can provide.
• Arrange meetings with the decision makers once the leads have been qualified for prospective business.
• Manage data via CRM system.
• Identify and connect with new decision makers with the passion to grow.
• LinkedIn message/ email/ call prospective customers.


Skills required for the sales executive

• Money hungry! To earn lots of commission.
• Hungry to succeed and develop your career.
• Be enthusiastic, bubbly, and confident.
• Write and speak confidently and clearly.
• 2/3 years previous work within a sales environment is key (recruitment or consultative sales).
• Have the ability to show humour with your writing style to stand out from the crowd.
• Be reactive and thick skinned.
• Proficient in office packages.
