Connect Personnel is seeking a Cleaning Operative on a Temporary basis with the possibility of a Permanent position for their Food Production area.

Main purpose:

To ensure that all machinery and equipment are cleaned to the required standard and returned to production in a timely manner

Responsibilities:

Ensure all production lines are cleaned at the end of production and in preparation for the next production job
Ensure all machinery and equipment is clean at the end of each shift and all cleaning equipment is correctly stored.
Disassemble and re-assemble machinery as and when required
Deep clean machinery when required and after every allergen production run
Ensure hygiene and allergen swabs are carried out at the end of cleaning by QA or equivalent
Liaise with Team Leaders to ensure machines are cleaned in time for production to minimize down times
Carry out overhead cleaning according to schedule
Clean production walkways, factory floors and drains
Ensure all cleaning is recorded (electronically on Harford Control System or physical records as required) and is signed off by an independent Team Leader or above
Ensure factory chemical stations are stocked with correct chemicals and locked at all times
Report any problems with machinery or equipment to Engineering dept. or your line manager
Ensure the correct use of PPE
Ensure Company Health and Safety is adhered to at all times
Ensure Company Food Safety requirements are adhered to at all times
Ideally you will come from a manufacturing background - not essential as training will be provided.

Hours of working: Monday to Thursday 11am-8pm, Friday 11am-7.45pm

£9.70 per hour
