An exciting opportunity has come about due to company growth for a manufacturing company based in Tonbridge
My client a well established food manufacture is looking to expand their HR team and are looking for a HR Advisor to join their team.
The role will require you to have experience with the following:
Be confident to deal with all employee relations quires
To provide Human Resources based administrative support to senior managers and be the first point of contact to resolve queries.
Provide advice and guidance to managers in the implementation of policies.
Ensure that procedures meet and exceed the standards required.
Update local HR systems and routines in order to keep in line with current policies and maintain best practice, ensuring that a regular review cycle of policies and procedures takes place.
Assisting with the recruitment procedure for all staff, including placing advertisements, arranging interviews, obtaining references and ensuring DBS checks are carried out.
Overseeing the maintenance confidential staff files.
Producing contracts in accordance with company requirements using information provided.
Ensuring that deadline dates, contract end dates etc are diarised and brought forward for the attention of the appropriate Manager.
Managing the probation process and ensuring required further action is brought to the attention of the relevant people.
Co-ordinating disciplinary hearings, including note taking as required.
Ensuring the timely submission of all pay forms to Payroll and HR in order to meet deadlines.
Candidate skills & Qualifications required:
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred however not essential
Experience working with Employee relations
Previous experience dealing with payroll
Previous experience dealing with recruitment
CIPD Level 3 or 5 (3 as a minimum)
Previous experience in an advisory role to senior management
Have confidence to be able to speak to senior members of management
