Overview

We are a rapidly expanding company in Tonbridge providing cleaning supplies, uniforms and equipment to a number of councils and schools in mainly in the London area, amongst other businesses. We are a family run business and have been in the chemical industry for 30+ years. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us in the busy office, taking ownership of the role. We are looking for an organised, hard-working and reliable individual who has excellent communication skills and positive friendly attitude.


Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator will include:

Receive and process customer sales orders on SAGE
Daily inbox enquiries
Research products that we don't hold stock of and find the best price
Setting up new products and codes
Scan all Signed Delivery notes and file away in the shared drive
Assisting the sales team in raising accurately priced quotations for potential orders
Answer customer enquiries and process all customer sales orders through SAGE
Continually strive to develop product knowledge and present superior customer service by
making product information readily available
Assist with management of new customers and retrieving contact information for database
Support coordination of logistics in booking deliveries and shipping for sample requests and
website sales
Monitor Website orders inbox
Assist with organisation of support for sales and marketing communications
Demonstrate superior time management skills and meet deadlines
Contribute to improving the business and enhancing the reputation of the company by putting
forward new ideas and by implementing change when requested to do so

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Computer literate with MS Office and good Excel skills
Experience with Sage 50 Accountants desirable but not necessary (Full Training Given)
Excellent written, spoken communication skills
Self-motivated and highly organised with the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines and has the relevant sense of urgency when required
Have a 'can-do' attitude and demonstrate the capability to work flexibly in order to assist the commercial team in delivering excellent customer service
Smart appearance, we request that all office staff wear black and suitable footwear

This role offers an excellent salary and with the opportunity to develop and undertake training where necessary. Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm.
